[ROBT. C. MURPHY letterhead] Station Hospital June 9th. 1921. My Dear Clqrke; I received your letter dated April 27th. In due time mislaid it and so did not get to answer it. I had q little time to spare this morning and looking through my desk found yout two letters. I Immediately wrote a short note to Lt. Marlan asking him how he was etc. and then answered your note. One of my ehlisted men here at the Infirmary served at Savenay. He told me that Col. Casper is in the regular army. His full name id ColonelC.P.Ceeper, M.C., USA. Care Adjutant General, USArmy, Washington, D.C. A letter addressed as above will eventually find him. Like many of the Colonels during the war, he may now be, only a Lt. Col er a ajar
