2nd. Medical Regt., FSHT., 15th. June 1925. Mrs. Elsi e Clemens Clarke, The Buckingham, St. Louis, [Missouri], My Dear Mrs. Clarke; I wish to write you of an incident that may either be of interest or amusement to you. For fifteen years I have read and attended lectures and demonstrations on, mesmerism, psychology, hypnotism, thought transference theosophy etc. all the allied sciences of the psychic group. I have seen a large amount of pure fake and yet many little grains of real things that gives a person philosophically inclined, real food for thought. Mrs. Murphy and myself and six other army ladies attended a Spiritualistic lecture last Friday eve. I was in uniform and so of course received attention from the medium ( I usually go in civies for that reason).
