2nd. Medical Regiment Ft. Sam Houston, Texas, January 31st. 1926 My Dear Mrs. Clarke; I received your registered letter all right. MajorW.E.Cooper is at present s tationed here at The Station Hospital, Ft . Sam Houston, Texas. During the war our Corps expanded enormously with a consequent increase in the number of promotions. All the present [written in margin] yours [ms illegible:1 wd] Majors were Colonels then, but when the post war adjustment came they were again reduced to their former rank
