Army of the United States of America To all who shall see these presents greeting: This is to certify that by direction of the President and under the provisions of section nine of the act of Congress, approved May eighteen, nineteen hundred and seventeen Powhatan Hughes Clarke First Lieutenant Army Service Corps was honorably Discharged from the military service in The United States Army at Camp Dix, New Jersey on the Twenty-fifth day of October, 1919 [signature]Major General, U.S.A. Commanding.

Description | Powhatan Hughes Clarke served with the 21st Aero Squadron and the Labor Bureau A.E.F. during World War I. He died from tuberculosis August 20, 1920. This was Clarke's Discharge Certificate. He received an honorable discharge from the Army. |
