August 8, 1918. American Express Co., Paris, France. Dear Sirs: There have been two boxes expressed to me through your Company from St. Louis, [Missouri]. These boxes were addressed either to the 3rd Aviation Instruction Centre or the 2nd Aviation Instruction Centre. I have never received either of these boxes, although they were shipped over four months ago. When I was in Paris about June 28, 1918, I went to your office and found that one box had been received in France. Please have these boxes traced and let me know how I can get them.
