Check for month of August is being held this depot awaiting your instructions. If check is to be forwarded, kindly furnish definite address. M. H. Daly, Capt. Ord. Dept. U.S.A. WLH/hg 1st Ind. From: Lt. Powhatan H. Clarke, C.O. 133 Administrative Labor Co. September 7, 1918.-To Ordnance Officer, Advance Ord. Depot #4. I. Please forward my pay check to, 133 Administrative Labor Co. Description Powhatan Hughes Clarke served with the 21st Aero Squadron and the Labor Bureau A.E.F. during World War I. He died from tuberculosis August 20, 1920. In this memorandum, M. H. Daly, Capt. Ord. Dept. N.A. wrote Clarke in reference to where to send his pay for August 1918. Clarke replied and sent his mailing address to Daly who inturn wrote that he would put the check in the mail.
