HEADQUARTERS SECTION CIVILIAN LABOR OFFICER BASE SECTION NO. 1. A.P.O. 701, [November] 26, 1918. Special Order) No. 112 ) 1. Pursuant to authority contained in Bulletin No. 5, S.O.S., A.E.F., Hq. A.S.C., A.P.O. 717, 2nd Lt. L. E. Harrison is relieved of duties as Commanding Officer of Adm. Labor Co. 101 and 2nd Lt. H. H. Cook will take Command oof same in addition to his duties as Commanding Officer of A.L.C. 106. Lt. Harrison will proceed immediately to Savenay where he will take command of A.L.C. 133, relieving Lt. P. H. Clarke of his duties as Commanding Officer of that company. All assignments of this order are temporary and at the return of Lt. Clarke from his furlough, Lt. Harrison is relieved of his duties as Commanding Officer of A. L. C. 133 and will return to A. L. C. 101, relieving Lt. Cook from duty as Commanding Officer of that company. Description Powhatan Hughes Clarke served with the 21st Aero Squadron and the Labor Bureau A.E.F. during World War I. He died from tuberculosis August 20, 1920. These special orders relieved Clarke temporarily from his command of the Administrative Labor Company, 133 so that he could take leave. Another officer took over command of the company.
