[American Red Cross letterhead] November 28. 1922 Mrs. Powhatan Clark Hotel Powhatan Washington, D.C. Dear Mrs. Clark, My assistant, Miss Hussey told me of your visit to the Museum this morning and of your request to learn something of Miss Graves. Miss Florence A. Graves was a Red Cross worker whp entered the service of the Bureau of Communications. She left this country on July 23. 1918 and immediately upon her arrival in France she was assigned to the 3rd Aviation Instruction Center at Issoudum, where I was Directrice in charge of Red Cross activities. From this you will see that Miss Graves was not in Issoudun during the months of March and April. The address of Miss Graves is:-825 Centre Street, Newton [Massachusetts]. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance to you. Yours very sincerely [signature] Irene M. Givenwilson Curator American Red Cross Museum.
