Clarke, A.S.C., having reported in accordance with telegraphic instructions from Headquarters, Services of Supply dated February 21, 1919, is hereby assigned to duty as assistant to the Section Renting, Requisition and Claims Officer, Base Section No. 1, with station in St. Nazaire. 9. 1st Lieutenant P.H. Clarke, A.S.C., is appointed Town Major for St. Nazaire and vicinity, vice Capt. Ennalls Waggaman, Transportation Corps, relieved in accordance with orders for embarkation to the United States. Description Powhatan Hughes Clarke served with the 21st Aero Squadron and the Labor Bureau A.E.F. during World War I. He died from tuberculosis August 20, 1920. These special orders assigned Clarke to duty as assistant to the Section Renting, Requisition and Claims Officer, Base Section No. 1.
