You are hereby notified that, as the person named as beneficiary by Clyde. C. Chilson, Corp., Batt. B., 129th F.A. to whom insurance in the amount of $10,000 was issued by the United States under the Act of Congress of October 6, 1917 and the Amendments thereto, you are entitled to receive insurance in payments of fifty seven and 50/100-----dollars per month from the 17th

Description Letter from the Directory of the Bureau of War risk insurance, Henry D. Lindsley, to Mrs. Lottie Hewitt, the sister of the late Clyde Chilson. The letter informs her that she is the beneficiary of her brothers insurance in the amount of $10,000. Clyde Chilson died on October 16, 1918 during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He served with Battery B, 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division.
