Description Letter from Marion E. Griffith of the Kansas City Chapter of the American Red Cross to Lottie Hewitt stating that she did not have the information pertaining to her brother's death. Clyde Chilson died on October 16, 1918 during the Meuse-Argonne Offensive. He served with Battery B, 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division. Pinkston informs Lottie Hewitt that she is entitled to the Victory Medal as the nearest relative to Chilson.
