| Description | Photographs of the Busch-Sulzer Company during construction and after completion. These photographs include the offices of the Vice President James R. Harris and Vice President of Engineering Max Rotter, as well as other private offices and meeting rooms. Photographs documenting the construction of the factory are also included. The Busch-Sulzer Brothers Diesel Engine company was located at Utah and 2nd street in St. Louis, Missouri. The company was founded in February of 1911 by Adolphus Busch and produced submarine engines for the U.S. Navy during World War I. |
