[September] 15th 1918 Dear Folks: - Have been on the move for some time and hence could not write but have a little time now - we are still moving - we are now in a large forest "somewhere in France" sleeping in our "pup tents" we had 3 days of rain which was very disagreeable - we were wet all the time but no one got sick - sun is shining today which is a great relief from the clouds - aeroplanes are very active where we are and we have to keep under cover all the time - sure are a pretty sight flying thru the air - they use all kinds of formations in going over - we have not as yet seen an air fight - guess the papers back home are full of the war news
