[November] 21st 1918 Dear Folks:- Received your letter dated [October] 17th sure glad to ge tit - guess the people are elated over the joyful news - we are all happy over the outlook of things - Peace is not here yet but I think it will be soon and we can return to our homes - I hope that happy day is not far off - so Allan is in the music business, well that will give him his spending money - been having some fine weather - a little cool but no rain or snow - just cool enough to make you step lively - I am feeling fine as can be - hope all

of you are well - I know of no news at all - think it will be the time soon to ge ta leave - I am going to try to get one and go to Paris - want to see it before I come back - of course I won't stay over here any longer than I have to to get to see it - ha! ha! - what are they doing with the soldiers back home - hope to get some mail soon - how's Honey? still as fat as ever? am glad Ruth is going so well - we had a Y.M.C.A. entertainment today - a lady and 2 men - was pretty good - boys all enjoyed it - the lady spoke on the "Women in U.S"- she
