[Thursday] nite Dear Folks: - Well papa we have had 2 more days like Sun. chances are for another tomorrow - dont do nothing but shove in the wood - has been so bad that we have not had school-sure was glad. guess you are having a touch up there - had a letter from Elizabeth today saying she was having troulbe with her ear - says she believes it is getting worse - sure do hate it. dont say nothing about it. dont say nothing about it to her - how did papa stand the trip home. hope O.K. he sure would get some weather here now- know nothing new as to movements. am feeling fine - sure dont like soldiering in this kind of weather -
