[March] 14th 1919 Dear Folks:- Well am at last off the train - had a 3 days journey on the train - we are now located near Le Mans - on the way home - wea re in tents - will billet in some town next week - received your letter of [February] 21st today - sure glad to get it - also got one from Cousin Mary - we are firing on the range for one week, am real busy - not much time - am feeling fine - will find more time later to write you - am writing this by candle light - have a big fire going in my tent - men are all comfortable - we are still on the list to sail next
