Boncourt, France [January] 10 1919 Dear Folks:- The mail seems to be very slow in getting here but one of these days I guess I will get quite a bunch - today the sun has been out nearly all day which is remarkable compared to the weather lately - no news at all - just the same thing over every day - no excitement at all - hence no news - hope the "flu" has quieted down - also that all of you are well. guess Ruth has gone back to school. I am feeling fine - hetting fatter every day I think - presume there are lots of the boys returning home - hope it won't be long till "G" comes marching home - no one seems to know just what is to become of the 35th - I hear Col. Linxwiler is going home next month - sure wish he was with us - see where they are going to take 200,000 home for a month well it shouldn't be so long before we get there - can't afford to send the combat divisions home until they know more about a definite peace - boys in "G" seem to be Ok - we have been having a entertainment each nite at the "Y" - the boys sure enjoy it - to each Division several officers are on duty to get talent from the Division and arrange a schedule for the different organizations - sure helps to spend the long nites - we have supper at

4 30 - so you see it is quite a time till bed time - breakfast at 7 o'clock - dinner at noon - drill from 8-11 and 1-3 - so you see it isn't a hard schedule, don't know a thing to write but always write and let you know I am still living and OK - write and tell me all the news about town - tell Honey and Allan to write - I dont have time to write each one of you separate so I make one do for all - how is business starting off for 1919- guess the new country officers have taken over - having much lodge work to do and who has gone in? - will close - hope hte mail starts to come in soon - will write as often as I can - tell everyone hello, Lots of love to all, Your loving son, Kirk OK RkBrady Cpt.
