[April 24, 1918] [Monday] nite Dear Folks: - Will write you a short note tonite - received 2 letters from you today - sure glad to get them - it is sure cold and damp here - am still pretty busy - yes Cecil has left here - I don't know where he is now - am getting late I must hurry as I have to get up early in the morn - this is my last letter to you from this side- do not worry about me - everything will turn
