for a "Victorial cross" the next medal next to ours. The Medal of honor. The third division was attached to the 6th French army core this is the reason I am getting this. I did som fighting on the Marne. Faced machine gun nests and maid the dutchman hall ass. Any one that with stood that night of the 14th of July when thousand of german guns belshed their pigiron at us and still we doe boys stood and whipped them when they crossed the river hand to hand fight. There are some things that I cant tell you that I am not aloud to tell. They sensor our mail yet. Well I am well as I ever was in my life. Must close this dam paper is so bad. As ever John.
