| Description | Ticket to a Soldiers’ Welcome Home Celebration in St. Louis on April 29, 1919. After returning from Europe, the 128th Field Artillery, 35th Division marched through the streets of St. Louis, which was the hometown of many men in the regiment. With thousands of cheering citizens blocking the streets, the soldiers were forced to march single-file in some places. |
