War Relief Bazzar Shoulder Patch
Details
Title | War Relief Bazzar Shoulder Patch |
Description | Shoulder patches worn by members of the St. Louis War Relief Association. Various German-American groups in St. Louis formed the association to assist widows and orphans in Germany. The group was allowed to raise money since their efforts were humanitarian and did not support the German war effort. A weeklong bazaar held at the St. Louis Coliseum raised almost $100,000 for their war efforts. |
