Description	United States Model 1910 rifle cartridge belt. Each pouch held two five-round stripper clips for the Model 1903 or Model 1917 rifle. The pouches were closed with a metal button on belts made before World War I. Belts produced during the war like this one featured a much simpler lift the dot fastener. Wartime examples were also made of canvas instead of the traditional cotton webbing.
