Model 1910 Haversack
Details
Title | Model 1910 Haversack |
Description | United States Model 1910 Haversack. Soldiers used the haversack to carry rations and personal equipment. This design was not popular among troops in the field who readily identified its shortcomings. The pack could not be worn without a cartridge belt and was awkward when filled with even just essential items. Perhaps most frustrating of all it, had to be completely opened before something could be put in or taken out of it. |
