Description	This example of an American Gas Mask is shown in its carrying bag. The mask could be easily folded down into bags like this, and easily removed in case of a gas attack. Many soldiers wore these across their chest for quick and easy access if a gas alarm sounded. Hanging from this example are the original instructions for use.
