Field Telegraph
Details
Title | Field Telegraph |
Description | Advances in communications technology reached a new high during WWI. Inventions like the camp telephone and field telegraph made coordinating large groups of soldiers and equipment easier and faster. The field telegraph relayed messages between two positions, one position sending the coded message, and the position, received the message and had it translated into notes or orders that would then be telegraphed or phoned to generals and field commanders. |
