Description	This American Legion pin belonged to Bernhard J. Bonnarens who served overseas in a machine gun battalion during World War I. The pin features the seal of the American Legion. The American Legion, formed in Paris in March 1919 by soldiers serving in the American Expeditionary Force, became one the largest and most influential veteran’s organization in the United States.
