Description

Two memorials to WWI Veterans stand in Mountain Grove Memorial Park, the first, a stoic Doughboy Statue similar to that of the one located in Bates County. It has inscribed names of those who died overseas. 

The Second stands as a combined memorial to WWI and Spanish American War Veterans, instead of a typical Doughboy statue, this monument in topped with a statue of a Span-Am Veteran, whose uniform is more reminiscent of the American Civil War.
