Dedicated in 2002, the Laclede County Veterans Memorial Park consist of a long Honor Walk leading to black stone monument flanked by various flags of national, state, and military origin. Another circular monument with a stone eagle sits just below the previously mentioned memorial and includes the names of service members from Laclede County who died in foreign wars.
We need your help. If you live in, or frequently travel through the state of Missouri, and come across, or know of a monument or memorial to WWI service members, please contact us and tell us where we can find it. We will then send one of our staff to take photographs and gather needed information.
