Missouri Over There

Dallas County Veterans Memorials

Description

The Dallas County Courthouse in Buffalo, Missouri is home to three Veterans monuments. The first is a stone monument to all Dallas County Veterans, constructed after WWI. One portion of text on the stone reads, “They sought no glory but their country’s good”.

The second is also a stone memorial to all Dallas County Veterans of foreign wars. It marks the dates of all major United States Military conflicts.

The third is a modern memorial wall, again dedicated to all veterans from Dade County, representing all branches of service.
