Wagner Electric Company Photograph Collection

Wagner Electric Corporation was an electric equipment manufacturing firm established in 1891 by H.A. Wagner and Ferdinand Schwedtmann.  During World War I, they stopped manufacturing motors for small appliances and began manufacturing armaments and munitions for the Allies.   These photographs of Wagner Electric Company featuring employees were created from the actual glass plate negatives.  The photographs show men and women in the factory manufacturing war supplies.
