McKeighan, Ernest Papers

The Ernest McKeighan papers include letters written by Major McKeighan during his service in World War I. He wrote letters to his wife and daughter in Kansas City, Missouri detailing his daily experiences. During the war McKeighan served as part of Company E, 110th Engineers, 35th Division. In his letters he discussed training exercises and routines at Camp Doniphan, the journey overseas, and military life in the trenches.
