Leeper, Charles C. Papers

Sergeant Charles L. Leeper served with Company G, 3rd Missouri Infantry National Guard in Flat River, Missouri for the Rock Island Arsenal. The Rock Island Arsenal helped produce ammunitions to supply the Allies during the War. Leeper worked at the Arsenal before re-enlisting in the Army in 1917. Leeper trained at Camp Clark in Nevada, Missouri, serving with the 110th Ordnance Mobile Repair. This collection includes documentation of the men who trained at Camp Clark including Mechanic Leeper. A Military Courtesy handbook for the 3rd Regiment Infantry, National Guard can also be viewed in this collection.
