    Title Navy Uniform
    Description Naval Reserve uniform worn by sailor Herbert Henry Luedinghaus of St. Louis. The uniform includes a tunic and pants, both made from navy blue wool. Luedinghaus attended Cornell University in New York when he and nine other men leased a boat to the navy. Serving aboard their yacht which became the U.S.S. Vencedor, they performed harbor patrol, delivered dispatches, and towed targets in the New York City area.
