Title German Gas Mask
Description Poisonous gas posed a constant danger on the Western Front. Soldiers were required to have their mask on hand at all times. Masks like this German G-17 Lederschutzmaske leather gas mask where worn by German soldiers to protect themselves from the deadly fumes. The cylinder at the base of the mask removed the harmful fumes.
