Title Clyde T. Briley Identity Discs
Description Aluminum identity tags issued to soldiers in the American Expeditionary Forces. Soldiers wore these "dogtags" around their neck with a cloth cord. If a soldier died in service, one tag remained with the body while the other was sent to headquarters for proper identification.
