Description During World War I, the olive drab uniforms of American soldier’s were reproduced for children to wear. Children wore their replicated military uniforms at rallies and parades where they became a popular sign of patriotism. This child’s uniform includes a jacket, breeches, leggings, overseas cap, and Sam Browne belt.
