American Neutrality League Ribbon

Details

Title American Neutrality League Ribbon
Description American Neutrality League Ribbon for the “Honorary Vice-President” at an anti-war rally on July 31, 1915. The American Neutrality League was formed in 1914 to prevent the United States from entering the European War. Members of the league had a wide variety of views concerning the war. The league was popular among many German-Americans in St. Louis, but this created conflict with those who did not want the United States to support either side.
